This is just a quick update -- wanted to let you all know that Neverwinter Nights turned 20 today , and a great article about it (with awesome links to forums , interviews and other stuff! ) was released to the Neverwinter Vault  today that I'd like to recommend. Oh! ... yeah, that sounded quite ominous, didn't it? 😉 But it's not a real storm I'm talking about ( thank god!  😋). What I'm really talking about, is that my very first Neverwinter Nights module has it's 18th birthday today! 😄 This day 18 years ago, I released my first public work, in the form of Calm before the Storm . The main screenshot for the original Calm before the Storm... ... and the main screenshot for the Remake. As you can see in the images above, I made a Remake for Calm before the Storm (CbtS) , which was released in 2008, 5 years after the original. Since CbtS was my very first module, it understandably didn't have the polish that my later modules had. To remedy this, I decided to improve the whole experience in the form of a full remake, with better scripting, better lightning, better dialog and new music. 💟 Another thing that struck me just now, that I haven't told you guys before, is that I had already started working on A New Journey Be...

Hey everyone :)  Today is the 15th anniversary of my Neverwinter Nights 1 module Surviving Horror 2  (SH2). Time sure flies, doesn't it? :) I thought I'd celebrate the occasion with some behind the scenes content . The main image for Surviving Horror 2 SH2 is the work I am most proud of creating -- it managed to gain Hall of Fame status , a Reviewer's Award,  won the Golden Dragon of Replayability the year 2006  and even won against the canceled premium module Darkness over Daggerford  -- and I think SH2 manages to capture what I like about a good survival horror story.  Golden Dragon Awards Nominations, 19th of november 2007, where SH2 was nominated at the same time as Darkness over Daggerford Golden Dragon Award Winners, 21th of november 2007 Resident Evil and Silent Hill was my main inspirations for SH2s gameplay and its story. I also love the items used for puzzles in those series (like the Club or Heart keys from Resident Evil 2, or the Tarot Car...

Hey everyone :) My movie-trailer "Salvation's Truth" has its 10-year anniversary today! ^_^ I can't believe it's actually been 10 years... feels just like yesterday, when I think about it. This trailer was actually supposed to turn into a movie, or a series. I still have the script, so maybe one day... that'll happen, in some shape, or form. :) Birger out. 👊

As you may or may not know ... Final Fantasy has it's 30th Anniversary this Year. Yay! :P I love the Final Fantasy series ... so it'll come as no surprise that my first NWN modules " Calm before the Storm " & " A New Journey Begins " were heavily influenced and inspired by this fantastic series. This year is very special to me personally as well ... not only because my Favorite Series has it's 30th Anniversary ... but also since I, myself ... have had my 30th Birthday this year. Yes. You read that correctly. I was born the same year Final Fantasy was. I didn't really think about it and I found this out myself just at the beginning of this year. But when I had let it sink in ... it felt like it, somehow ... just was MEANT to be . :) And of course ... I just HAD to wish for Final Fantasy 15 as my Birthday Present. ;) 15 is half of 30 after all ... Take care everyone. :) Birger out.

Time goes really fast ... it's been 10 Years since I finished filming and Released my First Original Horror Film on Youtube. I first released it in 2007 . That movie was the Silent Hill-inspired "Silent Hill: Darkness" . It has a lot of flaws, considering it was my very first film, still it's my favorite of all movies I've made to date. Story wise , I feel it's a master-piece ... filming technique-wise ... not at much. ;) Still ... I believe everyone's first movie to be a Learning Experience . As I mentioned, I'm very proud of it's Story . I took the most Time on Writing this Movie's Script compared to my other movies and I took grate care in using a lot of Silent Hill-related moments as a Tribute to the games and it's fans. Game-sound ... Similar story-themes ... the Mystery ... Music ... Characters ... Items ... and Dialog. If you haven't watched it, I hope you'd like to in order to Celebrate it...

Heh, by sheer coincidence I decided to check out the module page for my personal favorite (and Triple-Award Winning) module  Surviving Horror 2 . It turns out that it had its 10th-Year Anniversary this Month ! 9th of Febuary, to be exact. ^o^ HURRAY//HUZZAH! So without futher ado: Happy 10th Anniversary SH2! :D (And if you haven't played it yet -- during this anniversary it's a perfect time to do so!)
