This is more of a legacy post than a regular post, since, unfortunately, the website for Academy of Modding Excellence (the group that gave out the Golden Dragon Awards) -- has officially closed down.
And with it, the official place for my very own Golden Dragon Award interview from 2008 has been lost, as well.
BUT -- I'm not giving up. As luck would have it, I made sure to save a copy of the interview on my computer, in case the website would go down.
I'm SO glad I did that, since that means I can still share the interview with you guys.
😊💛

Erik,
ReplyDeleteGood to see you fleshing out your new site with references to your great works from the past, as well as your new ones!
Although I've been too busy to make a formal public announcement about it just yet, the old websites for the Academy for Modding Excellence have not, in fact, gone away. Maintaining their own hosting and domain was becoming prohibitively expensive, and dealing with that was one of my projects over the summer.
They've now been migrated to a subdomain of my own hosting site. In the process I gave the software a badly needed update to current and more secure versions. The AME Blog and Forums, including an announcement about the migration, can be found here:

Ah! Well, that is awesome! :) Thanks for preserving AME, Andarian, it is highly appreciated! ^_^
DeleteI mean, there are still a bunch of the finalist for the Golden Dragon Awards that I haven't played myself, and this makes it possible for everyone to either revisit- or experience these gems for the first time! Awesome! ^_^
