Gear for Samhain Lovers!

Hey everyone! I just uploaded version 1.1 of my Neverwinter Nights 1 Halloween-module " Samhain's Eve " which features a Gear-Chest in the beginning ( with Equipment and Potions ) for those who don't feel like downloading the Character Creator before playing. Thanks to those people who's been kind enough to vote and play! I figured that more people would be drawn to downloading the module without having to feel that they MUST download the Character Creator before playing. For those who don't know what I'm talking about is that this was about me choosing to not include any items in the module , since it's so short, so I chose to instead d irect people to fixing their own equipment ( and level up their character at the same time ) by using the Character Creator . Anyway, now you have the option to choose ! :) The module has now gotten 119 downloads and 4 votes as I am typing this. Keep those downloads and votes coming! :D Oh -- and ...

Samhain's Got 100 DOWNLOADS!

My latest short-mod , also a Halloween mod for 2009; Samhain's Eve is close to recieve 100 downloads! As I am typing this the mod-file has gained 94 downloads. Be sure to keep those downloads coming! ;P But man ... I'm disappointed that it has only gotten 4 votes so far. Maaaaan -- gimme your votes! Me needs them! :P But seriously ... I really think people should vote more . By voting you show the author that you appriciate his/her work and it is actually the ONLY reward we get (apart from downloads , then). And I mean ... it takes probably just, like, ONE MINUTE to vote. And it usally takes hours and hours ... and sometimes even YEARS of an author's life to create these mods for you to download ... for FREE . Show em' some apprication guys! You'll most likely spur those authors to create even better mods next time they release something if you lend them your votes ... as a matter of fact, I can tell you that as a fact . ;) Berra out.

The Origins of the Dragon ...

Hey everyone. I downloaded and bought Bioware's latest RPG Dragon Age through Steam a couple of days ago. I haven't played it yet and don't know when I'll find the time to since I have a bunch of games that I'd like to finish off first BUT -- at least I own it now. :) I think this game will open up a new modding-commu nity similar to the one we now have at the nwvault and soon we'll hopefully be seeing some really nice looking modules coming out for us to download. It think we ha ve an awesome time ahead of us people! :P If you've played the game and like to give me and my readers your view of the story/gameplay feel free to let us know! Just NO SPOILERS , OK? Berra out.

LeslieMS is a Dialog-Horror Queen!

Just uploaded version 2.6 for Surviving Horror 2 and version 2.2 for Surviving Horror 1 with both featuring COMPLETE DIALOG-REVAMPS made by our new Dialog-Horror Queen called "LeslieMS" . Be sure to give my two horror-mods another go! The dialog feels a lot fresher this time around. :) Thanks for all your help Leslie (and sorry for the late upload)! :) **UPDATE (2009-11-10): AND PEOPLE: If you haven't already ( shame on you), download my latest short-mod called " Samhain's Eve " . It's a halloween module that I think you'll find very appealing. Berra out.

Happy Samhain's Eve!

Hey everyone! I've just uploaded my latest module . A module to celebrate Halloween 2009! It's called "Samhain's Eve" and should be played with a 10th level character . It's not been completely uploaded yet but once it's up you'll find it HERE . I've not uploaded the spelling fixes for the SH-series yet ( sorry LeslieMS ) but I will try doing so soon. That's all for now folks! Berra out.

More SH Changes and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Hey again everyone! :) I've had a really nice gal called "LeslieMS" going through all the dialog for both SURVIVING HORROR 1 and 2 ( she began with the second part but then felt like going through the first one too ) so I'll be releasing some updates for both modules once I get the time. She's remedied most of the spelling errors , fixed some grammar and changed some of the dialog so it sounds a lot better. I'm also going to add the new portraits for Jina and Frogrin to the first module and perhaps ( if I find a suitable scene ) add some romantic animations to it as well ( no promises though ). I've also had thoughts about doing a short-mod to celebrate halloween . But in that case, it'll be really short but still enjoyable and atmoshperic as my other mods ( hopefully ). What do you guys think? :) Berra out.

Surviving Horror 2 REBORN ... almost.

Hey everyone! Just uploaded version 2.5 of my module "Surviving Horror 2" . This update includes the following: *New Portraits for Jina, Frogrin and Nuerov made by Archon . * Romantic Animations (Hug & Kiss) made by Ninjaweaselman . * Some overall tweaks and bug-fixes. (full list of everything updated can be found in the read-me file that comes with the module) You will need to download the main-hak for Surviving Horror 2 AGAIN if you have an older version since I have updated that hak so it includes the stuff mentioned above. If you don't have Surviving Horror 2 on your computer then simply download everything. :) That's it folks, I hope you enjoy! Be sure to let me know what you think of the new updates. :) I personally love them! :P Berra out.

New Surviving Horror 2-Update (SOON)

Hey everyone! Anyone who enjoyed my NWN1 module "Surviving Horror 2" will have a really good reason to replay it pretty soon and those who hasn't played it yet now has a couple of more awesome reasons to finally get to it! The new update, called v.2.5 , will include completely new and original portraits for all the main characters. This includes the henchmen and a certain dark character . All portraits were made by my pal the awesome artist Archon . The creator of many of other artwork for my modules and the creator of the graphic novel Dark Sun's Glare . The update will also include ninjaweaselman's new romantic animations for both romance interests . The only minor crux about the animations above is that you have to play certain races depending on the character you're interested in. Otherwise the animations won't work as they're supposed to. For Jina you'll have to be human or half-elf and for Frogrin you'll have to be a...

A Quick (V.O.) Update

Hey everyone! Just wanted to quickly inform you people that I've started doing some Voice Acting . You can find it to your right below the link-list "Berra's NWN Interviews" . I really like doing voice acting so if you are looking for a voice for your mod or whatever else you might need it for, be it film-projects or commercials or whichever, let me know and I'll gladly do some for you. I've already done some voice-acting for a couple of modules. One that will be released for NWN1 and one for NWN2 . I won't reveal which mods yet but once they have been released or when or if I get permission from the authors I'll post about it here. :) Berra out.

Halloween 2008 COMPLETED! Finally.

Hey everyone! I just finally completely completed the Halloween 2008 Collaboration-Mod for NWN2! I voted quite awhile ago since I knew what my score would be anyway ( perfect 10.00!!! ) since it's such an awesome piece of work with so many different author thus giving it a very special feel. But at the time I had still a couple of houses left ... since man, there's like 30+ houses there! :D Below are some examples of the ones I really liked: I loved the Elysian Manor . It had that perfect unsettling isolation-horror atmoshpere to it and even in NWN2 ... it manages to put in some really good "scare-ya" -effects as well! Like for example ... well, I won't give a direct example, it's better if you play it yourself. :) But these scenes are pretty up close and personally , that much can I say. :D BlackRain Software's house was REALLY AWESOME ! It's a tribute to the first Resident Evil game for Playstation 1! Since I'm such a complete RE-fan,...

What has Berra been playing?

Good question. ;) I've not played NWN for a long time now but I have bought Mysteries of Westgate which I plan to finish sometime in the future. I'm currently on vacation so I'm hoping to finish some of the games that I've not had the time to finish while working. My attention has been fixed more on console games . I've been playing both Playstation 3 and XBox360 and to be honest I've not had that good expecations on the latter before I actually started using it ... and now think it's pretty awesome. :) The mayor differences between the two is that, while using Xbox360 , you have to PAY for playing online . Which I don't really like. While on the PS3 you can play for free . Strange, huh? But I guess it has to do with that Xbox360 has a more wider range of multiplayer games. The games I've played are the following: Assassins Creed (Xbox360), Legendary (PS3), The Darkness (PS3), Gears of War (Xbox360), Banjo Kazzoie "Nuts and Bolts...

Michele leaves NWN-Podcast

For those of you who's been following the Neverwinternights-Podcast ( a site that sends news about modules and the community ) knows of Michele a.k.a . "Liso" and for those who don't: she's been a hostess/interviewer on the Podcast for a long, long time and she's one of the most positive and cheerful persons I've met. Some may recall that I guested a Podcast episode as well ... well, she's the one who interviewed me. :) It was awesome fun and you could really feel her personality through her words. :) Sad to see ya go Michele but I for one really understands how it feels. See my mod-business for example. So, no worries here! The most important thing is just that you do what you feel is right for you. She's still going to linger around the community though so this is not the last we'll see of her famous "Milk N' Cookies". ;) I think we should all wish Michele luck in her future endeveours. Good luck Michele! Berra out.

Long time no Read.

Hello everyone! As the title says; "Long time no Read" . ;) Yeah, it's been awhile since I posted on this blog and it's mostly because I've , as most of you already know, dropped my module-making hobby for the moment. "For the moment" you ask? Well , I've decided it's better to call it that since it could happen that I return to it someday since it's been a pretty large part of my creativity. But for now I still call it quits but I decided to start to post, from time to time, a little about other mods and some other stuff going on in the community that I find interesting. By the way what do you think about my new site-design? I think it fits really well and I've actually made a new logo that I'm also going to use for my new YouTube movies. I played two excellent mods way back for NWN1 called "Revenant" and "Celestial Chronicles" . The first actually recieved the Silver Award 2008 ... and with good reaso...

Mods for the Masses and/or Successor?

Hey again everyone and long time no read . ;) I've answered all you comments now back at the previous post , so if you know you've commented there be sure to go back there and read what the replies I've given you . :) So ... what has I been up to , you ask? Well, it's been mostly work (my real-life work that is) ... a lot of battery creation there, since I work on a company called S.a.f.t. which creates larger batteries used in backups or hospitals or other larges constuctions . But I've also played a couple of games and watched a couple of animes with my siblings. :) I've been playing The Darkness & Condemned 2 for Playstation 3 and they're both awesome games. The latter really chills your bones, so if you enjoy horror you should give it a try. It's one of the scarier games I've played to date ... Doom3 is one of the scariest I've played and C2 actually manages to surpass that one ... in my opinion. :) I'm currently playing...
